The car events are starting to pick up. I'm sure we're all looking forward to doing the things we love to do with our cars. Whether it be car shows, cruises, or just hanging out with other car guys.
We got together at the Golden Corral for our monthly get together and talked about some of the things we are planning to do. Richard Stephenson brought some brochures from his friend's bed & breakfast when we go on our Virginia cruise. I asked that others contribute to the blog we have started. Just send me your article and maybe some pictures and I'll post it to the website. The folks at the meeting were Kevin Roberts, Dan Blackwood and his daughter Claire, Barry McCoy, Me, Bill and Lilly Hall, Kevin and Linda Worthy, Bob Waldron, Don Fugate, Richard Stephenson, Keith and Karla Morgan, Bill Halstead, Dave Neil, and Scott Evans.
Dan called to say that he and Claire would be late because he was working on a stuck door. As you can see, they weren't 100% successful. We thought he was going to pull a NASCAR and go out the window but as you can see he found another way.
We talked about our Hawks Nest Cruise and where we planned to stop. Check out the separate blog about that.
Our next get together is subject to change but right now it looks like we will meet at the Fireside Grill in Teays Valley on May the 17th. at 6:00PM. This is our new Pies & Pints mid-month gathering. Join us for a meal if you want and a couple of pints.
Our next scheduled meeting will be Saturday June the 7th. at the Golden Corral at 9:30 AM.
